Support at Home
Supporting you to live your life
your way
The Australian Government new Support at Home program has arrived. The details of the program remain the same, helping older Australians stay independent and live safely in their own homes for longer. Support at Home replaces the current Home Care Package (HCP) and Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) programs.
The new system offers more flexible, person-centred support, clearer service options, fairer pricing, and improved access to care. It reflects the growing desire of older Australians to stay connected to their communities, while making aged care more responsive to their changing needs.
This program is part of broader reforms under the Aged Care Act to deliver better care at home.
We understand sometimes it is better and easier to speak to someone. We invite you to call us during business hours and one of our team will be very happy to speak with you.
How it works
One step at a time.
One of our Care Partners will visit you at home to conduct an assessment of your needs. We’ll also work with you to create a personalised support plan. Once we get to know each other, we’ll match our staff to your care requirements, schedule, personality, and hobbies so you can enjoy a real relationship with your support worker or nurse.
Our team of experienced nursing and support staff work in collaboration with individuals and their families to deliver the best possible care. Nurturing staff will visit your home to support you by helping with a variety of tasks, depending on what you elect. These can include any services across six core areas — personal, respite, specialised, domestic, home and garden, and maintenance.
