As a contracted provider for the Department of Veteran Affairs, Carealot can offer a variety of in-home care and support services focused on assisting you to continue living independently. Our caring staff do this by supporting your health, well-being, and social connection.



You may be able to receive Veteran Community Nursing if you have an assessed need, and have a Gold Card or a White Card, and you need this service for an accepted service-related condition.

Services we can provide

Examples:

  • Bathing, personal grooming
  • Toileting
  • Assistance with dressing
  • Social support and companionship
  • Overnight care
  • Live in 24-hour care

Examples:

  • Post operative care
  • Wound care
  • Medication management
  • Diabetes education & support
  • Stoma/colostomy/indwelling catheter assistance
  • Care coordination

Examples:

  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Grocery shopping
  • Laundry
  • Transporting and/or accompanying you to and from medical appointments,shopping, or other everyday activities.
  • Social interaction and companionship, such as card games, reading, walks, and conversation

Examples:

  • Mowing
  • Gutter and window cleaning
  • Clearing of debris

Examples:

  • Pain and symptom management
  • Post-surgical wound care
  • End of life care and support
